Other than delamination, TAK10 paddles have a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects valid from the date of purchase.

  • Warranty is only for the original purchaser.
  • Proof of purchase is required and can be found on our website.
  • TAK10 will evaluate and determine whether a paddle is covered by the product warranty and deemed replaceable.
  • Replacement paddles to be of equal or lesser value.

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

  • Normal wear and tear, abuse and negligence*
  • Any modifications made to the paddle after purchasing
    Fading of graphics
  • Paddles left in the elements like your car or garage, paddles should be kept indoors in a moderate temperature.
  • Excessive damage to edge guard
  • Hitting objects other than a pickleball.
  • Someone other than the original purchaser submitting a warranty claim
  • Buying from a non-authorized TAK10 dealer (Facebook groups etc.)
  • TAK10 promotional paddles are not covered by this warranty

How long should a paddle last?

Paddles themselves, depending on how often you play, can last a long time. Some individuals prefer to get a new paddle every 6-8 months; others every year and still others, every 3+ years. But as with anything, there are wear and tear components.
The edge guard is a protective barrier that also adds perimeter weighting but repeated accidental contact with the ground (normal wear and tear) will eventually cause it to loosen and/or become scratched which creates a need for replacement. Over time, the grip (depending on how often it’s used) may need replacement. This normal wear & tear is not a manufacturer’s defect.
